An MG driver had a flat tire in front of a mental institution. As he was changing the tire, he accidentally kicked all four lug nuts down the storm sewer and out of sight. He was standing there scratching his head and wondering what to do, He heard someone call from a window in the mental institution,

"Why don't you take a single lug nut from each of the other three wheels, and put them on the fourth wheel? That will give you three lug nuts on each wheel, and get you where you're going."

The driver said, "That's a really good idea, how did you ever think of it?"

The reply was, "I'm crazy, not stupid"!

Thats because the "crazy" people are usually sane, and the "normal" ones are crazy.

Normal is acting like everyone else, crazy is not. Now, are the people in a metal hospital crazy or are we? Four years of psychology and I still can't answer that one.

This all reminds me of a true incident that happened at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago a long time ago when our kids were little. It was in the summertime and we were walking on the outside of the Primate house. The great apes were, for the most part, in the "outdoors" parts of their cages. Up ahead, we saw a commotion as a crowd of people were gathering around a chimpanzee cage. A gardener had left a hose running and this chimpanzee had the end of the hose in his cage and was all bent over - this caused all the people watching to crowd even closer. I quickly realized what was going on and told all our kids and my wife to stand back.

About that time, the chimpanzee put his finger over the end of the hose, stood up, and sprayed all the crowd of people with water. You never saw people run for their lives like those did! Then the chimpanzee just howled and jumped up and down.

I've often wondered who was the dumbest and the smartest that day - or who should have been behind the bars! ;-)
