I just got a nice big crack in the driver side windshield today on the way home from school and now I really need the money from this ac setup for a new windshield!

Anybody have a picture of this unit installed in a car? I am curious as to how much room it takes up inside the car and under the hood.

Check with your insurance agent - often glass damage is considered as a road hazard rather than collision and a claim won't hurt your premiums.

I am with you Jack. I had a couple replaced over the years and as long as you went to their auto glass person there was no extra charges to the premium. I think now I may have to pay $50.

I just got liability because insurance for me (18 year old male) is a lot more expensive when you jump to collision. My Dad told me glass wasn't covered under liability only insurance, so maybe Rusty has the same problem.

Hey Hurst, I am in the same boat as you. Unless someone else does the damage I have to pay for it.

I think a local shop can get the glass and install it for around $160... I hope. :(

Whose replacement glass are you going to use Rusty? Too bad Moss doesn't offer the Triplex replacement for the GT models. :(

Bryan, Check the link I attached in the first post. I got the setup from Paul B. (progun) It came off of his BGT.

Shawn, If I have to, I'll buy a moss window through Chris and get someone else to do the install.

The GT glass reportedly fits well.

So the A/C set up is how much???
