Completely rebuilt 1972 Triumph TR-6 ready to be driven.
That would sound like you could jump in the car in Denver and drive to Pendleton, right?
Not! I was the high bidder but under reserve, yet invited to buy it anyway. Talking with these guys, I find that the rebuild was years ago "but low miles" ; no problem.
"You'll have to buy a set of tires." No problem until I find that there is no spare, the wheels and tires that were pictured came from a nother car just for the pics. And it doesn't overheat, the gauge is maybe the problem.
And, the top radiator hose has a crack.
I actually backed out of this deal because the words "Not as advertised" just kept screaming into my ear. What else might be not quite right?
MOral, be very very careful, even with businesses.
It still may be a great deal, but not for me.

Wise decision. Anyone selling like that should provide a REALISTIC description of the car including its problems, and I think most do. But there's always someone out there trying to who-do ya.

I think a wise choice Chris. The other unexplained unknowns would probably add up quick.

Yeah. Jane and I have never been there. And so close to Hunter's place.
