I changed my gearbox for an OD gearbox, and everything works perfect, but.....
there is a oil leak at te front of the box, the oil is coming out between the box en the engine!!!! (shit shit shit)
I think that the oil seal is broken.
Is there some additive that can help me for a few months....
regards
Kamiel

Jokingly - this leak is a normal part of a British engine oil change system and you just need to keep a catch tray under the car.
I have tried leak sealing gunk in the past and never really had muich success with them
Certainly could be a failed seal ( PITA ) but before you start yanking the power unit make sure that the transmission lube level is not too high. It is sort of a pain to adjust if you have a top dip stick for checking the level. If you do, you have to drain a little, crawl out from under the car and check with the dip stick, and repeat until you get it right.
If you have a side fill transmission though it is easier in that you just fill and let any excess drain out the opening until the fluid stops.
In both cases though it is imperative that the car be sitting on a dead level surface.

How much oil are you losing? If it is a small amount, I would say live it, oil is cheap. I assume there was no leak from the weep hole before you changed trannys.
I have a side fill transmission and will control the level tomorow again.
Bardahl have a special additive for oil leak in transmissions,so I can also try this first out!
Thanks for the reply guy's
