This one's a long shot but members here never cease to amaze me.

Have an old pipe threading die set which I'm cleaning up and restoring and I was hoping someone else may have one the same or similar.

Came from my FIL and he's not sure where he got or how long he's had it. Got a couple of sets of jaws for different sized pipe but it's pretty obvious that the attachment for the jaws are not original neither are the 3 bolts/screws for holding the scrolling guide mechanisim together.

I was hoping someone may be able to describe what these bits look like or even better post some photos of what should be holding these bits together.
This is what it looks like after a bit of a clean up.

I'm sure I can make up something that will work but if I'm going to do that I'd like to do something original.

I love fixing up old stuff!

You might also send a question out to Gerry Masterman, he might know something helpful for you.

Paul! That's fantastic! Answers one of the questions. I've got one of those toggle things and I can certainly make another. :)

Thanks!

I've also got 2 of the 3 washers with the raised edge and should be able to fab another.

The detail on the other side is not real clear though. It is certainly the same bit of gear - unfortunately I don't have the same range of jaw sets. :(

You're not exactly the sort of 'old stuff' I was thinkin' 'bout. I meant old tools.

Um, wait, that doesn't work either - old bits of machinery stuff!

Oh, hang on, are you talking about the house?

Chris,

I think this is the company that made the threader.

http://www.reedmfgco.com/

Maybe you can get the parts you need to restore your piece.
