I believe I have read that it is ok to do this but just wanted to check. If one has some missed coverage areas that are discovered after curing the part is it alright to respray these areas and then recure the part? I know that you can put the part back in when you clear coat them so I would assume that it is ok to recure a resprayed item.

Frank,
Yes the part can be touched up and re heated without any negative consequences to the original coat.

Well guys I tried it on my pedal box and was somewhat disappointed. Not in the area that needed the coverage but the portions that already had good coverage lost their smooth finish. I guess you need to recoat the hole thing to achieve the best results. Ended up reblasting the pedal box and recoating....turned out nice.
Frank
