I worked at a BAP/GEON Import Car Parts store in Sacramento,CA,in the mid 70's.We sold a lot of their products, which were very good quality. Many shops and other customers used their products. However, back then there weren't too many competitors for chassis parts, especially imports.
Well regarded in the days when my father was in the motor trade. Don't know about currently, when so many companies outsource to cheap Asian suppliers. May still be good.
I purchased a set several years ago and they rubbed the inside of alloy wheels. The rod ends were shaped differently than OE replacements. Perhaps they are different now.

I have heard of them also when I tried out a set of wheels and they rubbed the tie rod end, someone on the board suggested getting a set from one of the shoppes in England. From what I remember they made a set of had a smaller outer diameter and might have allowed me to install the wheels without spacers being needed. But I believe they make more than just tie rod ends. I think the fella they mentioned for questions was Andrew Hooper but I can't remember which company he was with.
I've used quite a bit of QH over the years. What I used to buy new years ago is now NOS! The only complaint that I have heard with the current line (other than tie rod rub) is the clutch/pressure plate assemblies for Spitfire and GT6... basically not very good! The current parts that I used on my TR3/7 and GT6 restorations were satisfactory but hardly superior IMHO.

bad clutches....if you have special wheels contact the MGOC for the "smaller" tie rod ends for the minilites, etc.
I have a QH clutch on my 79, the quality was at least as good as the Borg Warner it replaced. I've used QH for 20 years or more and their quality doesn't seem to have changed that much.
My luck with their stuff has been mixed. A water pump I got years ago was pretty worthless ~ very light duty alloy casting and a stamped steel impeller. Also, their clutch set I put on back in 1988 came back out in 1990 and was replaced with the Borg & Beck unit that is still in there today. It had a problem with the pressure plate springs. But other items of theirs have been as good as anyone else's. I don't know, but my guess is this might be a sourcing problem, particularly if they don't always make their own stuff.
