Let me ask a question? I pulled a rear end out of a 76 that was a wire wheel type, I know the splined hubs can be removed but once removed would the existing studs that are exposed work for bolt on wheels or do you have to by hub adaptors or are there any other mods to make this work for bolt on wheels?

I'm still waiting for Skye to add this procedure to the library.
I submitted it over 2 weeks ago.

Contact Glen Towery. He walked me right through the same thing your are trying to do. Spacers or hub adapters are only needed If the off set of the wheel you are going to use is different. I used Datsun 240 Z rims no need to change anything. Just a simple bolt on.
you need to exchange the wire wheel hubs for disc wheel hubs....the studs you are referring to stay with the hubs.
Bruno thanks for the response, I just book marked that post.
Ken, is Glen on the MGE?
Thanks to the others who posted.
Yes
I see over on the V6/V8 forum someone drove his car. He may have responded to that post.
