I'm going to start getting the rear floor board mounting points, the triangle area, ready for a replacement part from Todd Clarke.
Has anyone done this job and have any tips for me that they would care to pass on?
Thanks.

Related question - it looks like the section are welded on from the bottom? Yes/no?
Thanks

Tom,
When I repaired the floorboard rails on my A they were welded on the top and the bottom, I used a cutoff wheel ( carefully ) and an angle grinder tp remove the bad sections.

Tom, if you haven't looked at the Eclectic Motors web site then you should give it a visit. Carl has lots of clear photos posted of their repair work, the floor board supports included. It's not 'step by step' but you can get a pretty good idea of how the pros prep and weld in repair panels. http://www.eclecticmotorworks.com/
Thankfully for me most of my floor supports were in good shape, just needed to get the old screws out which was a pain.
