Rear floor board mounting points

I'm going to start getting the rear floor board mounting points, the triangle area, ready for a replacement part from Todd Clarke.

Has anyone done this job and have any tips for me that they would care to pass on?

Related question - it looks like the section are welded on from the bottom? Yes/no?

When I repaired the floorboard rails on my A they were welded on the top and the bottom, I used a cutoff wheel ( carefully ) and an angle grinder tp remove the bad sections.

Tom, if you haven't looked at the Eclectic Motors web site then you should give it a visit. Carl has lots of clear photos posted of their repair work, the floor board supports included. Thankfully for me most of my floor supports were in good shape, just needed to get the old screws out which was a pain.
