Well before returning the rear mount to the underbelly, I read and re-read every previous post concerning the reassembly and installation of these innocent looking devices. Even reading the horror stories didnt prepare me for the fun that was at hand! I now know why it was the unanimous forum choice for MG job from hell. But low and behold, I found a way to make it even worse! Simply install it backwards the first time and you get the added enjoyment of having the experience twice in the same evening! What a pleasure when it was all over though. Oh, did I forget to comment on those bloody (proper English term) rubber grommets?
Man, my fingers just dont seem as coordinated as they were "back in the day", blasted bifocals too.
There, I feel better now, thanks. Then again, maybe the Seagrams is helping.
