I have seen an add on ebay for replacement rebound straps that are heavy synthetic material with stiched loops, I think they were blue in color. Also I recall a post not too long ago that there is a member of this forum that makes these up.

Reason I ask is that I looked at a BGT this week that had new replacement rebound straps installed and they were both broken at the loops in less than 50 miles. Looking for info on the maker of the synthetic stiched type straps and any personal experience with this type. Reply to this forum or PM thanks Dave

I think the quality of some rubber products is very poor. I put Rusty's straps on about 2 years ago, and no problems since. I have a Blue car and it looks good. Now if they only came in colors????

Rusty's Chrome bumper straps are black. I believe the rubber bumper were red but....
you could also get them in different colors at the high point of production.
Haven't seen Rusty around here much.

Get a tie down strap. Cut to proper length. Stitch the ends install. Works for me and at a much lower cost.
