My favorite candy is Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. They are now about 1/3 the size they used to be. Why?

Yesterday I crushed my Pepsi can accidently while taking a drink. Why are the darn things so thin now-a-days?

The hubby and I stopped at Hardee's a couple of weeks ago and ordered two "small hamburgers" because we don't normally eat at fast food. Honest to goodness they were finger size and could be ate with one bite. We both cracked up laughing. Why would they sell something to small?

To top things off just yesterday afternoon I bought some groceries and when the hubby and I were carrying the bags in the house three of them busted.

What's going on with all of this cheap stuff especially in these days when they recall the food after we've done ate the darn stuff.

I feel better now --I have finished sounding off.

Your turn :)

The peanut butter cups have given you super strength so now the Pepsi cans are no match for you. They have also increased your appetite so that now normal portions seem small. As far as the grocery bags go, ask for plastic instead of paper, or is it the other way around? Your new super digestive system can handle any recalled food. I hate to suggest how to return the food. We too avoid fast food if possible, but right now a McD's double cheeseburger sounds awfully good to me right now.

Even Macdonald hamburgers are no longer the size they used to be. I used to have trouble eating one Big Mac, now I can polish off two..

My daughter, the geriatric nurse, says the reasons for these kinds of problems in our age group are:

Things look smaller because
A: our eye is not what they were
B: our memories are not accurate; things were not bigger way back

We break things easier because
A: we cannot control our muscles do to atrophy of the nervous system
B: our grocery bags break because we are too weak to lift them high enough so they
drag on the ground and wear thru.

Things take us longer than they once did because
A: we forget what we are doing
B: fall a sleep and do not know it

Funny thing is she still needs to use the “Bank of Dad” at times. She forgets that I always write things down and forgetting isn’t an issue with me.

One thing we can always count on is that eventually almost everything changes.

When the change is for the better we often take it for granted, but when it's for the worse we notice it right away!
