Just starting prep work on car. Is there an easy way to remove entire windshield assembly, without messing with the dash???? I have checked the web can't find any info other than through the dash removal.

Don:
Yes, the two bolts on each side are accessible without removing the dash. I recently removed one from my parts car. I did remove the glove box. U joint type socket wrench is helpful for the top ones. All in all, it was not a tough job.

Also disconnect the battey and remove the brake test light, then a socket and extension can reach the drivers side lower bolt.

I had to bend the dash a little to get the top bolts out and back in.

when replacing, grind a shallow point on the end of the bolts, helps them find their way back home.
