For starters: 1970 B-GT
How does one remove the rocker switches correctly? Specifically the switch for the heater fan. I think there's a tool for this but is there a way to do it without the tool?

Oh...FAN switch. I thought you'd found a new abbreviation for one of my favourite "this job isn't going too well" words.

I just finished replacing my fan switch. There are many threads on this subject. Do a search on "replacing fan switches". You don't need a special tool. You do need to remove it by going through the glove compartment. Small hands help much and a needle nose plier. All this is true for a '72. I believe the '70 is the same.

Thansks Ben but there's no glove box on a 70.
I'll try the search function though.

Hey Tim,
The inimitable John Twist has a video that covers this in great detail...
