I just got my new sills and Half floor for the 62 the other day and started trimming to fit them up. i am wondering the best way to removed the paint they come in. I am going to undercoat the bottom eventully but that paint on there is just cheap crap they use so the panels don't rust over shipping.
Thanks
Allan

If those panels are Heritage or Steelcraft it isn't cheap crap on to just stop rust during shipping. It is an e-coat that you leave on and can weld right thru. Best to leave it alone if you want to have less trouble in the future with rust.

That's what i wanted to hear, most of them are heritage and some of them are steelcraft. That saves me a lot of work, i tried to strip one piece but the wire wheel would barely touch it.
