Hey Rick,
Thank you! There great.
We were in Washington over the weekend... when we left early yesterday morning it was pouring as I loaded up the boot with luggage etc. I'd open it and hold it with my shoulder put stuff in not wanting to put things on the ground to get all wet.
The first thing I did when we got home was put your struts on.
Thanks Again
Paul

pop 'em off and reverse them.
cylinder down.
seals last longer that way.<G>
(i put mine on wrong too)
Glad you like the, Paul!
I've got 'em to fit your MGB and MGC bootlid, Swampers! (Got 'em on each of my MGCs...and bonnet struts on my MGB and my MGB/GT....and a hatch kit on the GT as well!
I'm running a sale through the end of the month....see the "Horst Special" thread in the Trader.

No, Mac...Paul has them correct. They stay at a slight angle down when the bootlid is closed...and then the seals will remain lubricated better. Inverted (with the barrel attached to the body) put the strut at an "upward incline" ....less seal lubrication.
FWIW - YOMV
I don't think either end of my car stays closed long enough to lose any lube. ;)
I've got strut kits front and rear on my B. This is one of those "Doh!" upgrades. As in "Doh! Why didn't I think of that?!" Great addition.
I have them on my '68, front and rear. They are great!

Oh. out-thunk myself again!
thanks for the correction.
BTW..they fit the "pre-telescopic" (fixed) prop rod MGB and MGC as well!
Only 6 days left in this Horst Special as it ends on 3/31/08.
