Would someone please remind me of who has the trick air filters for this?
I am ditching the Zenith/Stromberg in favor of a pair of HS-4's. This is on a '79 B with power brakes and the stock cans will no longer work.
Who was it that had fabricated the nice covers with MG logo and shorty K&N's, or did I simply imagine this?
Thanks...

Either Jimmy Hilton, or Hap Waldrop both of whom are on this board can fix you up.
They look good, work good and are fairly simple to set up.
Have fun
The best K&N solution that I know of for a car with a brake booster is the K&N 56-9320 conical filters. Probably cheapest through Amazon.com and should be with free shipping. You may also want to add the SS51 stub stacks.
Jon,
I am looking at the same project for my '76B. If you would update this thread as progress flows, I'd like to follow ya!
Cheers!

Chuck,
They reduce turbulance, cleanup the airflow at the mouth of the carb.
I converted from a Solex//Mikuni to dual HS4s and then found the original type filters didn't fit so I bought a pair of RAM-FLO 300 series filters. They fitted in the '79 quite well.
I recently swapped a HS4s only to find that the original filters wouldn't fit. So I bought a pair of RamFlo filters and they fit & look good.

John,
The OP's car has a brake booster and master cylinder on the left side of the car to contend with.
Having said that, I've seen those filters on a L/H drive car as well and they appeared to just clear the brake stuff.
