SDBCS is next weekend. This will be my second show--first all British show. I have gone as a visitor before but now I have entered to show my car. Anyone else going? This is a really nice event in a beautiful setting in North San Diego county.

I went last year and really enjoyed it. It, too, was my first show with the MG. I'm looking forward to next week. Hope to see you there.

Alright Robert! Dan Cramp is going too. He has 3 GT's. I think he is bringing his split bumper. It will be good to meet you. See ya there.

I will be there, along with a number of members of the So Calif MG Club from the L A area.

See you there, Mike. I'll have the Pale Primrose GT with the bad paint (hopefully rectified some day.)

I am thinking of going, I have the registration right here. But....my car is not a show car by any means so I am wondering if I should take it or not? It is not so ruff as to win best beater award.

Michael, you will see all states of condition at this show. So don't worry about it. Come and show your car, I'd be happy to see it and meet you.

Good to hear that, Frank. Hope to meet you too.

There was a fellow there last year with a really beat GT. he seemed to be having a good time. In any event, his ride got him there....

I went years ago and had a wonderful time. I haven;t gone since I started my restoration. I probably should. It's good motivation to finish up.

Have fun.

Hey, where is Winchester CA????

Winchester is just a bit north of Temecula, a few miles east of the 15.

Hey Guys, I'm back from a two night stay in Idyllwild; beautiful this time of year.

So Frank, for us on this side of the Ortega's, we go south on I-15, then to Highway 76. Would you want to meet in Temecula and go together? Or, is that too far out of your way? I think we need to get there pretty early, I'm pre-registered, but cars start going in at 0730. I'd like to get there by 0800. What do you think, Robert?

Mike,
Temecula is the wrong side of the mountains for me. I will be heading down I-5 with a number of other Brit car owners. Yes, I-15 to 76. Then west just under 5 miles to Mission Road. You then turn right (north) from your direction and the left turn onto the horse farm is about 1/4 mile ahead. Bring beverages with you, and sun block and a hat or cap. There is a great BBQ caterer for food. Also bring a camera and a folding chair. You will do a lot of walking around as the wide array of nameplates, cars, and car condition will astound you. You will want to return to your own car and rest your feet for your next sortie.....

You will be able to find me at the MGB group. Calif black plate YUG 578. I will post a note on my windscreen with my cell number so I can be reached while roaming around the event. I look forward to meeting you.

Frank, I've attended the last 2 years as a spectator, its a great setting for a show. One hitch I have to contend with now, ANOTHER bad core plug leaking. I have to replace that with a copper expansion plug. This is not a fun job. See my thread: Core plug revisited.

Anyway, I will be there and I'll be looking for you. See you then.

I will be in my White split bumper GT with and easy up set up in back. I'm still trying to see if I'll be taking the red 74.5 RBGT. If a buddy shows (Grady) from San Clemente he will be driving that one down. Our cell will be on 951-231-4655 if we are away from the cars. My wife usually hangs out (she's a pretty brunette about 5'4'') named liz. The San Diego MG Club will be showing us where to park. B's with B's. GT's with GT's and so on. All the judging is done by us, the owners, no judges. I bet there will be almost 500 british cars there. See you guys there!
