Does anyone have pictures of the plastic seat belt guides that mount on the interior wall right behind the seats on GTs (are they are roadsters, too?).
Does anyone sell replacements for them? I'm sick of having to turn around backwards to reach my seatbelt every time I get in the car.

No but the Jensen I used to have had a really neat velcro flap at the outboard shoulder of each seat that held the belt and kept it from going behind the seat. I'm thinking about having a local shop do this for me.
my owners manual, 1974,roadster, shows such a device,.
but,. I can find no evidence of this,in the car.
.it would be real handy
These were on Ebay not too long ago. I thought I might try to duplicate using aluminum sheet.
I have parts car with one. Its plastic. The belt does not run through it. Its just a keeper the buckel slips into.
If you have retractable belts, the mount is a critical safety part and is usually used with vertical mount belts. There is nowhere on a roadster that is strong enough to mount them as standard. On the GT you have.
The roadster that I have has a small strip of vinyl or leather attached to the seat (outboard shoulder level) that the belt passes through to stop ot going behind the seat.
Just hope I never need it!!
Sometime ago someone posted this picture of a home-made seat belt hold (no really, it's home-made) It looks like a good idea, but I think I'd take a file to the edges before I install one in my GT.
