There's a guy on eBay that sells the wooden seat bottoms for MGA seats names Wes Dorsey (he also goes by 28chevy.) Has anyone used his parts that can offer an opinion? Thanks. Basil

I've bought a set of the wooden seat bases from him, but haven't installed them yet (waiting until I redo my upholstery). They seem to be good quality, and the eBay transaction was smooth.
It's been quite a while since I bought my seat bottoms from an eBay listing so I don't recall the seller. Very likely the same person though.
I was quite pleased with them, they fit very well. I initially thought I had a problem with the passenger bottom when I found it wasn't seating in the base. Turned out someone had leaned back in the seat so hard it bent the bottom frame. One big f'ing hammer later the seat bottom fit perfectly.
I bought my seat covers and stuffing from Moss but everyone I spoke to recommended Scarborough Faire for the bottom cushions. For putting together a set of seat parts from three different vendors, it went surprisingly well.

Just bought a set from him, look like they are very well made but have not installed them so have no comment about fit. Prompt shipper too.

Come on Basil...... You probably have 18 sets in aisle 4 row g of warehouse 6..........
You guys make me laugh - there are only 2 buildings and the bigger one only has 6 aisles :D
I'm actually re-using an interior I had made for my black coupe but I replaced it when a guy that does Pebble Beach interiors volunteered to redo that interior for the cost of materials (long but happy story.) So I have nice red seat covers and kick panels and a friend gave me an almost new red carpet set and I have a roadster dash that's been covered in the same red material as the seats so I'm getting new seat bottoms and having the door panels re-covered and the seats re-padded so I can be into a whole interior for the new roadster for a few hundred dollars :-)
PS - Ralph, Your next purchase is in aisle 5, row 9 of warehouse B. You don't know you need it yet but it'll be there when you're ready :)-D
This the guy from Canyon City Colorado.
I have a set in my MK11 they worked great.
That is a supplier I would use again.
Thanks everyone. I called him directly and he sold me a set for less than eBay pricing :D
