Jack, I hope you all have a good turn out, I won't be able to make due to MJ and myself are headed out on vacation the very next day, it's full tilt boogie in the shop right now to get as much done as I can before I go.

I enjoyed hearing the fellow from your club speak at our meeting last week. I will offer this piece of advice, putting a 100 car show, alot of fun, putting on a 200+ car show, a real chore and a club buster. Once Euro Fest reached 200+ cars it almost destroyed our club with all the work that had to be done, in 1999 we as a club we chose to end Euro Fest, as it had taxed our members with so much work, people were quitting the club. Luckily for Euro fest, that's when we handed over control of the show because BMW wanted to see it continue, and the Euro Fest board was created and it now runs the show, with a few FBCC members on that board. As you know the FBCC is still a driving force of the volunteers, but not carrying the entire load of work, now most of our members only have a day or two of commitments to Euro Fest, rather than several months worth of chores. Euro Fest had the abilty to explode becuase of it being open to all European makes, so it was easier for it to get out of hand, I think we should expect 400+ cars this year at Eurofest, and there's probably 100+ people commiting some sort of effort to pull it off, and Euro Fest now has over $100,000 in sponsors. So Jack keep your show small and the members of your club will love you for it in the long run. Good luck.
