Got my rebuilt dizzy back from Jeff at Advance distributors this weekend, put it in, started it up, and she runs like a new car!

Thanks a million Jeff!

I only have one suggestion, that is instead of refrigerator magnets why not get some of those window decals (like the old Holley, carb or Hooker headers, etc...) I'd be glad to fly the colors on my car for you!

The decals are in production! I already have 3/4" for the distributors and big 5" versions for pasting on fenders and such. I'll have to get the 3" versions next...

Anthony, I could not agree with you more. It's not a shameless plug when there is someone out there who can reasonably help with MG's and make such a huge improvement. I have actually been enjoying more than ever driving my MG the last two weeks with the difference a Jeff Dizzy makes. (Of course I'll enjoy it while it lasts until something else goes wrong but thats another post soon I'm sure. :-)

Jeff, be sure you let me know when the 3" version is available. I'll be glad to put one on my car!

Thanks for the GREAT service!!!!

Hey Jeff, on a distributor related note I'd like to ask you about the Lucas 45 D European market distributor that Brit Tek sells. Is it good to go right out of the box or does it need some Jeff fine tuning to bring out the best in it? I'd like to put the Petronix kit in it so I don't have to deal with points. What do you think mate?

Jeff:

Yeah a 3" sticker would be really cool. Please let me know when they are available

Just sent mine out for a recurve and new springs. I cannot wait to get it back.

Shawn,

I have a 45 D Eurospec that I used right out of the box. I thought it was just fine as it came to me. After reading so many outstanding reviews on Jeff's work and after some great communication with him, I sent it. All I could say after putting it back in was "WOW". I couldn't believe the difference Schlemmerizing makes! The improvement was astounding.

I had Jeff recurve my Eurospec 45D too.

I got mine back this past weekend and have yet to install it on the new rebuild. I can't wait. Jeff is such a pleasure to deal with, and those smaller stickers sound like they would be the ticket.

Well, I guess I'll be ordering some stickers tomorrow...

John - great new avatar!!! How old's your pup? Terriers are a rewarding challenge!

As for the 45D Eurospecs, they have a terrible curve - very "safe," slow, and low performance. Shawn, you'd be better off buying a 45D rebuildable points distributor and sending it in for an overhaul and Pertronix. There are plenty of them available on Ebay and on this forum - probably well under $50. Either that or just buy a new recurved Pertronix 45D from me!

Thanks Man! That's our Jack Russell "Scout". He's about a year and a half and full of boundless energy! Yeah, I liked that photo. That's him and his "Big Bone" he got from the Easter Bunny. (he would have probably prefered the bunny! lol!)
