Anyone out there used Snapfish, Photo Bucket or other web services to store and share photos? Which is better? What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks!

Don't know the pros and cons of all of 'em, but use myphotoalbum.com for our car club's stuff - and I'm very happy with it. I've also got some stuff on photobucket, but I much prefer myphotoalbum....here's a link to our car club's album to give you an idea of what it looks like <http://memphisbscc.myphotoalbum.com/albums.php?page=1>

I like Photobucket. You can bulk upload a lot of pics quickly. I have a bunch of folders and a TON of photos and I'm currently only at 25% full of the free allocated space,
And you can post more then one pic in a MG Experience post. :)

Thanks for the post Bob. I have just started and have only tried picasa and photobucket. Photobucket worked best with my logic, but Joe, I am curious what features on myphotoalbum got your vote. Hate to keep trying out various sites. One thing I dont like about photobucket is that it seems to be somewhat unsecure. Unless I am displaying images incorrectly, it concerns me that almost anyone can get into my homepage and mess around with pics. See my link and let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks,

John, You need to go into your account on Photobucket and set it to private.

The link is 'Account Options' at the top right of the page.

Thanks Owen - does that still allow one to post links for access to the grid or slideshow views?

John, as far as I'm aware, all it does is stop casual browsers accessing your pictures. Everything else should work OK.

My Photobucket is set to private and I can still link to pictures in it. I've never used the slideshow but see no reason for that to be different.
