Simon,

Got it at the Napa in Lynden. Lordco could put one on BO for 6-8 weeks. Wish I could get the set you bought...next time round.

How much are those mufflers? The old tractor muffler is a little noisy, so I may clamp on something different just to keep from getting a ticket (I figured if they gave me a ticket, I would just look under the car and say "Ohh, goodness, that is why it has been so loud, I have a broken pipe." because no officer is going to get down low enough to look at the exhaust on a B lol).

If that has a pic of a roadrunner or somethin similar on front, Advanced Auto has them for like 20 bucks

Paul, that muffler looks familiar...
Those cute little mufflers fit great up between the leaf spring and fuel tank. Sound really nice too, for as inexpensive as they are. Quieter if its mounted further forward though. If that's the same one I had, its only about 10"s long.

Yep that's the one Jeff, going to take it to a small shop here next week and have it put on the red B. Cost me 80.00 cash to have the front muffler removed and a new pipe installed to the almost new stock rear muffler, he did a nice job repositioning the rear muffler with the tail pipe sitting up in the proper location.

Hurst, it cost around 30.00 it's 11'' long 16" wide with 2" pipes
Model 17703.

I may clamp that in place of the tractor muffler on there now. I like the bark, but it is just a hair noisy. Looks like you can get those at advance also. How do these sound on a B? Any photos of one installed? I wish I could find a place to do my exhaust piping for $80, most want that plus $100...

I expected something more... "exotic" (?) when I opened this thread.

Perhaps something more like this:
