This one did a lousy job keeping the rain out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MG-MGB-MGB-BARN-FRESH-Original-Restorable-Dream-One-Owner-N-R_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ31857QQihZ005QQitemZ150116360276QQrdZ1#ebayphotohosting
On the other hand, the price is right and the seller certainly isn't trying to hide anything.

Holy crap! It was exposed to some serious "ground moisture"!
I don't think I've ever seen an engine so corroded! The enterior looks better than the engine compartment.
That's a Michigan car for you.
Price would have to be really good.
Go on John put a bid in, I'm sure you want to add a RB Roadster to your collection!! :)
I'm sure your wife won't mind!
Hope he includes a free tetanus shot with the car - the buyer will need it!
That one looks like it wouldn't even be a good parts car.
Off to the crusher you go!
I love how the car doesn't have rust. It has "noticable corrosion".
Yeah, it looks like it was exposed to some of that "ground moisture" out of the Gulf of Mexico from Katrina!
Hello,
It looks bad, but a northern car often has a lot of the dash and little plastic bits in good shape. The dash, seats, and door panels might be a good deal for someone local if they get the whole thing for $100 cash. That said, it looks like flood damage was an issue at some point.
"It is really a one owner 38,000 mile car"
That is a crime.
I guess we don't know the personal circumstances of the "one owner" - but can you imagine buying a new car, driving it for all those years and only putting 38,000 miles on the clock (only to church on Sundays???) - then stashing the thing away in the shed.
There must be some tragic story behind that car or surely the owner would have traded it in or sold it with that few miles on the clock. It doesn't look like it got hit by a truck or anything.

Where's my 10 foot pole? Ah, nevermind.
Did someone tell him that salt on steel was a preservative?
someone would actually BUY that?
I'd think this would be in the category of "get it out of my yard"--just take it away.
But the opening scenes in An MG Is Born show him buying a crusty rusty worse than that for a couple thousand dollars!
I think that car had a small fire in the engine compartment. If you look at the picture that shows the air pump, you can see the filter housing looks to be melted.
I think that old girl is destined for the bone yard.
Ground moisture...? Did they try to bury it?
Why didn't he raise the hood all the way, afraid it might break off?
WOW!
Here's another. What's up with those midwestern barns? Wow.
At least this one ran when parked. ;)

At least the second guy didn't lay it on thick in his description, and his pictures give a good idea of the car's condition.
The first guy.....well.....
I hate rust. The second car's trunk lid is split -- and repaired with a bracket. Very strange repair.
Who buys junk like that? If you gave me either of those cars for free, I'd have them hauled away. They're too far gone, especially the first one.
Of course, in Britain they rebuild completely rusted out cars around one good part, maybe the gearshift knob, cutting everything else away. But, the Brits are fanatical that way.
Something to do with warm beer, I guess.
