My wife and me are going to be travelling to Scottsdale,AZ at the beginning of July along with another couple. We have either days before or after to do some sightseeing. We have the option of leaving from Palm Springs,Vegas, San Diego or Phoenix. Does anyone have any suggestions,it would be nice to have some kind of expected timeline to cover route. The only part of this area that we have seen was Williams area of the Grand Canyon on a tour from Vegas.
Thanks very much,John

this where I live, and love it here,.
The last time I was in Palm Springs in July the whole valley was at 48 degrees centigrade.
The place was too hot for anything other than snakes and scorpions.
,. it does get hot here in july,. that is when we get out on the river, and do some boating,,.,.along with jumping in the clear river,.
you can beach your boat under the london bridge,. this time of year,. we have lots of folks from canada,.
Phoenix? In July? Get out of town!! Jerome, Sedona? Anywhere but Phoenix.
Palm Springs is like Hell. Barren dry wasteland. Don't know how it became famous. San Diego has some great tourist attractions.
