As some of you may know, Classic Motorsports is organizing a Group 44 tribute at the Mitty this year. While Group 44 seemed to generally favor Triumphs and Jaguars for some unfathomable reason or another :-) they did have two MGs--a B and a 75 midget--in the stable, and BOTH of those MGs will be at The Mitty, along with all those Jaguars and Triumphs and such.
Also, wanted to give ya'll the heads-up early, since space is limited: We're also having a Group 44 dinner at the Mitty. This is a semi-private dinner and tickets are going to sell out fast. If you'd like to sit down and hear stories about the heyday of sports car racing in America straight from the men who were there, get your ticket soon.... before the Triumph guys snatch them all up.

And for those of you planning to come to The Mitty, I'm looking forward to visiting with you.

the reason they had them was very simple.
Leonia wanted them to. Specifically, Mike Dale. (Leonia is where BL's US HQ was and Mike Dale was the "boss")
Also an HP Nat Champ in a bugeye.

I know, Mac. I was trying to be funny. I'll have to try harder. Or try less.
In all seriousness, they absolutely dominated no matter what they were driving, and all their machines were very, very cool, and very, very fast.

Tim, looks like we (Superlite) are going to be there again this year. We're working on Barry getting Terry out of the warehouse and out to Road Atlanta to help me at booth, and get him some fresh air in God's country :)
