In my post about my Speedo problem a couple of days ago Max71 says it's a good chance it's the poor quality cables I've been buying. So I'm game I'll buy one from someone else. Has anyone tried the one's from The Roadster Factory. I was thinking off getting one from them.

Swamper,
I have their OD cable in my 69 B that I purchashed about 5 years ago and it worked fine out of the box or bag actually.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Rob
Swamper, did you ever check to see if you are using the copper washer between cable housing and the speedo . Do you have the angle hookup? I've heard that the angle drive really need the copper washer. What have you been using for cable lube. I've always used powdered grapite, sometimes the liquid graphite.
I did put on the new angle drive with special cooper washer. Didn't make any difference. I read somewhere not to lube the cable, both cables I have used where new from Moss. Maybe Gary (Max71) is on to something with the poor quality cable used in the Moss units. I might give the place down in LA a call about it.
