I haven't posted in quite some time, but have visited often checking out some of the posts that I find interesting. It's hard to believe that it has been some four months since getting rid of the '63 and the '64. I have slowly been working on getting the shop cleaned up and organized. I have gone on intensive tool searches around the property and have found all kinds of tools that I had forgotten about. I have also found that I am missing quite a few specialty tools. I didn't realize that I had so many until I started putting things back into my tool chest. I am going to either find a bigger tool chest or come up with another option for storing some of the ones I don't use much.

I now know that I will be getting another MG one day, but right now I am still looking for a good Spitfire to fiddle around with. If any of you have seen any goods ones in Georgia please let me know. Thanks for any help that any of you can give in this search.

As to tools and storage, I have my garage wall in back of the workbench lined with Peg Board and use hooks to hang all my automotive tools. It there is an empty hook(s) I know something is missing and find it to hang up before I quit for the day. I can then always find what I'm looking for in the way of a tool. I have a separate bag with tools I carry in the car. It mahy take a little longer on the day I'm working on the car but it sure saves a lot time in not having to hunt for where I might have left something.

Just a FWIW

I was going to post some smart a$$ comment like- "good spitfire" ~ isnt that an oxymoron? But I decided not to out of deference to our benighted Triumph brethern!

George if you aren't too busy would you come help with my garage? I am starting to get scared when I go in. It is getting pretty full with a completely dissected 74 B and our newly arrived 76 B plus my 78 B and then the hubby's 81 Vette parts car and 81 Vette runner. We keep making small steps but I must need bigger shoes to make any headway.
