Is there a game today? ;)

I'm just getting the smoker rolling. As long as the ribs are good, either way is OK by me.:)-D

Don't really care as long as it is a good, close game.

Not really a football fan but since there's a local team involved it's been hard to ignore. Won't be as exciting as last time though, when the Giants weren't supposed to have a chance yet they won in a big upset.

Worst part so far was the crowd at the usually empty supermarket this morning. I do weekly grocery shopping early on Sunday mornings just to avoid the crowds but at 6:30 this morning the place was full of people all dressed up in Giants stuff.

If you have a favorite team and really want them to win I will help you. I am selling my support to the highest bidder...can make bid here or by PM but has to be before kickoff. I am experienced with this and have cheered on many winning teams.

Jim, I just got off the phone with my Nigerian contact. He has offered me a deal of a life time, seems he has a suitcase containing 50,000 Euros in a storage facility but he owes 300 dollars in back rent. Here's the deal if I forward the 300 dollars to his bank account he will get the suitcase out of storage and give me half the loot. Sounds like a fantastic offer...you want in?

Why would people in Steeler country wear Giants stuff to the supermarket at 6:30 on Sunday morning?;)

Go Madonna!

So how's come they only pay for acts that are near the end or there and don't wanna admit it. Rolling Stones....Bruce Springsteen....Madona ?? Not I don't like, just saying.

Funny but first thing you hear coming back from the 1/2 time show is Lady Gaga. I told Laurie that she probaly got more for the rights to that than Madona got for being there.;)

They gowith the acts that appal to the most people.

I guess they could have booked Lady Ga Ga - but why go for the cover band when you can get the original?

Ooops, I can feel a lawsuit coming in the air, tonight (hold on)!

http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/television/john-butler-trio-looking-at-super-bowl-ad-that-resembles-hit-song-zebra/story-e6frfmyi-1226264417652

The band's management have confirmed they are looking into the matter after outraged fans alerted them on Twitter.

“Thank you everyone for making us aware of the Oikos Greek yoghurt TV ad that aired during the Super Bowl (today) featuring a song that sounds extremely similar to Zebra,” the tweet from JBT MGMT read.

“John Butler and his management were not aware of this usage until (today) and we will be seeking advice as how to address the issue.”

A 30-second advertising spot during the Super Bowl reportedly cost $3.5 million this year.
