Can someone tell me if the Moss supercharger is lubricated solely by the fuel passing through it.
I fired mine up today, 1st time and the comment was made how do you lubricate it?
I hope I know the answer but am just checking.
Thanks in advance Andrew.

Unlike the blowers of old the Moss/Eaton blower does not require an oiler. The bearings themselves are supposed to be good for 100000 miles without service.

Unless Eaton has changed the way they make their superchargers, which I doubt, the front housing has a special supercharger oil in it. The rear bearings are pre-lubed and sealed. The oil level in the front gear case should be checked periodically. Your new unit should not use oil. If it does you probably would have a warranty issue. Check with Moss or Eaton on the recomended intervals for checking the oil level. If you ever did need the Eaton oil, it can be bought on ebay from ZZ Perfomance at a better price than most vendors.

The Moss (Eaton) supercharger does have a plug in the front housing but while it is the filler plug its NOT the level plug.
The unit, when serviced at (they say 100,000 miles) is removed from the vehicle, drained and then the correct amount of Eaton supercharger oil in put back. Its not a normal type oil as it turns into a mist during opperation so dont fiddle with it unless its leaking. Mine has over 40,000 miles and no problem.
