As I've not seen a whole bunch on the supercharged MGB in this forum ( I'm usually haunting the BBS), I'll start this topic wondering how to size the diameters for the cold air induction, say, from the valence scoop up infront of the rad ( post 76 roidsters) (( no sic)) run parallel along sparkplugs to 2 @ 90* long sweeps to an adaptor collar for the HIFF, at which point I'd think, the longest air horn possible would be placed. What is normal "add" for the friction provided by sweep 90*, assuming we are doing this similar to a duct calculation for a furnace? Anyone with in place systems? Phil was talking about one with his new rebuild I believe a few months ago. Cheers, VEM

I'm thinking about supering mine, but it will have a 2.8 in it when I do. I'm actually thinking of doing a super/turbo combo, to get the low end boost of a super, and the high end boost of the turbo. as well as adding a crank from a 3.1liter to turn it into a 3.1.

I'm going for the 2.8 because one of my friends has one and can give me a good deal on it. another friend also has a turbo I can use.
