I searched, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm nearly ready to build the suspension for my GT racer project and would like to know what bushings you guys recommend. My roadster has polyurethane bushings on the upper end of the kingpin. I'm not sure of the material at the lower end of the kingpin, probably poly as well. It looks like Delrin or some other hard plastic at the inside end of the lower a-arm (where the v-8 bushing go). It's nice and stiff, no noticeable roll, so I'd like to get the same or better for the GT. Does anyone use or have a source for the Delrin bushings? Should I use something else instead? Given the choice of Moss products, black urethane or Prothane bushings?
Thanks, John

I like Nylatron- it's a rigid polymer. Think they are mostly grey. Unsing it in the inboard lower A-arm, upper outer, and in the shackle.

I made a set of Delrin bushings on the lathe for my last B, which worked beautifully even for street use.
I bought the Delrin stock from onlinemetals.com, and turned them using dimensions taken from a set of poly bushings.
John Targett sells a good product, grey in colour, that have more rigidity than the bushings made with the red material.

Get the Moss Nylatron... they are rock hard and self lubricating.
Remember to read the instructions they come with... they way the joints work alters with solid bushings.
I'm running the Moss Nylatron in my B Gt, and havent had any problem so far. I would definitely recommend the brass eyelet bushing kit for the rear leaf springs. They are a pain to put in but worth it on the race track.
just my $.02
