Swap, Buy or Sell! Water Pump/Pulley

Yes. I'm confused.

I have a 67 engine in my 78 B. The water pump has to be replaced becasue the PO chopped the alternator mount off to accomodate a home made mount for a Delco alternator, which doesn't line up properly.

I want to convert back to stock. I happen to have a brand new cast iron pump on the shelf, but it's the longer nose, which would be fine for this engine but I don't have a deep pulley for it so it's not going to line up with the others if I use it.

So I will trade my pump for a short nosed pump OR I would buy a suitable deep pulley for the one I have.

Any takers?

BTW, I have two good Delco alternators for sale for 25.00 each along with several wheel bearings if anyone is interested.

Dan, I bought a pulley off ebay last month that was suppose to be for an MGA. When I got the pulley it did not fit my A. The seller told me it came out of an A, which it probably did, but I suspect it was a transplanted B engine. Anyway I still have it, and I too am in the Atlanta area. If you want, let me know how to get in touch with you and I can send you some photos/dimensions to see if it will fit. Good luck......Don P
