Looks like you want to be able to drop the transmission without pulling the engine? Is that spliced into a stock crossmember or do my eyes deceive me?

not really a "massive" transmission, fit in the Camaro rather nicely and it is supposed to be a sporty car, well sort of.

Pete, it would make it possible to drop the trans without removing the engine. my thoughts were to get a better angle when removing the engine and trans together and to use the stock trans mount
