I'm sure if I thought about this I might be able to figure it out. I remember watching a mechanic years ago adjusting the valve gaps. He was advancing the engine by 1 or 2 wires clipped on to the fuse box and then touching the other end to engage the starter. It seemed like he adjusted all the valves in about a minute.
I'm sure there are some of you guys that have done this. Can you help refresh my memory?

Early cars have a starter switch on the solenoid to do that.
I however, put the car in third and just push on the top of a front wheel and roll the car a bit. Very easy. Valves are adjusted quickly.

don't know what year your car is but......you jump the white/brown wire from the starter relay to the brown wire on the starter relay. easy............

I just pull the starter lead off the starter relay and hit one of the hot sides of the fuse box to blip the starter over. You can use a momentary switch from the autoparts store if you want, but that works for me.
