When we got to the park last week a couple of blackbirds cleaned all the bugs out of the grille right away but the windshield and front of the coach were still a mess. We had a brief downpour about 5:00AM then cleared off and I decided to clean the windshield. I was out there with soap, water, a rag, and the hose trying to stand on the bumper, hang on to a grab handle and wash the glass when a pickup truck stopped, the driver got out, and set a step ladder out. He said, “Here, use this, you shouldn’t be trying to stand on that slick bumper”, and drove off. I didn’t know where he came from or where he went so when I was finished I left the ladder standing in front of the rig and a couple of hours later it was gone. Turned out to be Ted, the guy with the gig boat and he ended up working on it all day, couldn’t get the outboard running. I went over to help but saw he’d been screwing around with the wiring on the engine so I dummied up and wasn’t much help. He ended up buying another motor. He was going up to Galveston after something and I bummed a ride to pick up some better bait shrimp, a loaf of bread, and a fifth of booze.
Doris caught a flounder that was 1“ under the limit. I hooked an about 13” sand trout but he got off the hook. Just as well, it saved me getting him off, 15” in the limit on them. I couldn’t find any big crabs, but could catch little ones at the rate of about two a minute.
When we got here I noticed the right rear trailer tire looked low, checked it today and it had no pressure. I took it off and found a screw in it and will get that fixed tomorrow.

David, The size and rounded style is what attracted me to Travcos.
Bryan, The reports are about over, 2 days left.
Billy, When you get to Houston and if you want to know more about San Louis Pass County Park just e-mail me. They have 4 cabins there so you wouldn't have to invest in an RV to try the place a couple of days if it interests you.
