To go along with the British mood I thought I'd pass along what I heard on the radio here an hour ago --

Today, 48 years ago, the Beatles made their debut on Ed Sullivan. My parents let my brother and sister and I stay up and watch. Pretty awesome memory. Whether that influenced my desire to keep going back to a love of British cars, who knows. But the two go hand-in-hand for me.

Anyone elso on here awake that night? :)

Sooo, roughly speaking, the Beatles = Chrome Bumper, Wings and John Lennon = Rubber Bumper. That makes it easy to remember!

Not to be too picky...but it was 48 years ago today. I remember well as it set me off on my path as a professional musician. Thanks Ringo!!!!

I watched em Still have mostly Beatle CDs in my daily driver.

A buddy sent me the Beatles White album when I was serving in Vietnam. A bunch of us powered up an old Army generator to run a 7" reel to reel tape recorder. It was so amazing we sat and listened to it for hours...laughing, crying...smoking dope.
