Check it out. This would be perfect for using the laptop for tuning that new EFI system. http://www.amazon.com/Mobile-Office-WM-01-Laptop-Steering/dp/B000IZGIA8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1260155552&sr=8-1.

Be sure to check out the customer images and "other views". :D

i tried one once in my mg and couldn't get the angle right. i think these things are better suited for vehicles with tiltable steering columns. also with the top down there was too much glare on the screen.

I don't see any safety concerns. What are you all worried about? I can't wait until the first lawsuit as a result of the first collision caused by the use of the product.

When I was in Italy last year I saw something like this for sale at a gas station/truck stop. The one I saw however, attached to the steering wheel and it was designed so you could drive and turn the steering wheel, but the board and your laptop always stayed level and flat. You know, multi-tasking!!!

I seem to get some desk lifting at over 100 mph. Any ideas?

I can hardly wait until they come out with the virtual reality goggles that plug into the laptop. That would truly be perfect.
