Top Casey

I just saw an ad for it. Sunday at 3:00 on BBCA.

I guess I'll set the DVD recorder!

Their show is funny, but I've had mixed feelings about it. The "Presenters" don't seem to really like cars all that much. The promised U.S. version should be interesting...

Gees the US hates it so much that they want to copy it?? Guess that makes as much sense as the show usually does.

I like the show a lot. However, I also love cars, even ugly unpopular models. I feel they have become a bit jaded as "automotive journalists" by driving one to many fancy models to the point that they fail to appriciate that even the cheapest, most beat-up old Tata is the treasure of some family in India, and can be respected in that context. The show is a lot of fun, and the conflict, love/hate relationship that the hosts have with cars adds to that. Their Jackass stunts tend to end up wrecking 3-5+ cars a week. I saw them wreck a Triumph Herald last week. Not a super classic, but more worthy than the sad fate it met.
