Jane was cleaning, wanted me to organize, hence the sale item above. How do you advertise a piece of ------- on ebay?
I was too drunk to come up with a better story, but am amazed at the results.

There's quite the market for wooden lures. That could get interesting.
I bid twenty-five cents for everything in that picture!
There's at least two people that have taken a liking to
your frog....2 bids already.
The viewers are the guys on this board...we had to look...lol.
$5 is for postage and $10 for the inflight supply of flies to keep the frog fed.
Flat rate UPS. It is a minimum of $10 for anything out of here.
PHB had a better answer though! LOL!
I put that on my watch list Chris. I'm fixin' to put some stuff on e-bay and think I have a couple of goofy old lures around here somewhere. I use USPS for light stuff and FedEx ground otherwise, FedEx any time I want delivery confirmation.
Good choices John.
How this auction is going makes me wonder what Dad did with all the salmon gear off the fishing boat. Probably went with the boat.
I have Bass fished with the B.A.S.S for many years in the past.
Some with the FLW tour.
Now I fish nothing but benefit tourny's to raise money for childrens
hospitals, ill children, etc.
You would be surprised at the hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars
old wooden lures will fetch.
Prior to posting old lures on E-bay. Do a little research. Find the manufacturer.
Creek Chub, Manns, Chug Bug, etc. You might be surprised, and want to hold
on to them. If you have the original box, doubles the price.
And if you feel the need to get rid of the old stuff, pass them on to a Bass
fishing friend. If you have a buddy thats really into bass fishing. Give it to him
as a gift. I can sit here and count at least 30+ bass fishing items hanging on the
wall just in this room. I love finding stuff like your 'double jointed shallow running
frog lure' Steel hooks....sweet!
Old wooden lures were not mass produced, and Bass fishing was for pleasure.
Not as an industry, as it is today. So theres not a lot of them still out there.
Heck! At one time back in the 60's several states had outlawed the use of
plastic worms. It was against the law to sell plastic worms. They were deemed
to be sooooo good a lure, it was thought that the plastic worm would destroy
the bass population.
Here's one example of how much ONE lure can go for:

Tomorow afternoon, I think I will climb up into the loft and pull out my Grandfather's old tackle box. There is some 60+ year old lures in there. :)

Well, the sale is on so I can't withdraw it. One of you folks could buy it and do quite nicely it seems. Nutz!
Cuteness is in the eye of the beholder Paul! A frog with a $2550 price tag is pretty cute.
