My "new" car left San Diego this morning, the truck it is on is currently passing through Quartzsite, AZ on the way to Phoenix. :)

I can track it from town-to-town online, I've been watching it all day. :)

Yep! It spent the night in Benson, Arizona, I'm guessing it's heading for Dallas, that is the shipping company's main hub so it seems logical it would go there before coming here.

I remember when my Datsun Roadser was on the way. The day it arrived I was waiting in the Lowe's parking lot and when I heard that jake brake and saw the truck exit the interstate my heart was jumping out of my chest! What a great day. Same thing when my 1984 Honda Interceptor was delivered. Fun stuff. Paul

Actually, the company has a depot 20 miles from where I live, I'm having it delivered there, it saves me quite a few $ not having door to door. However, the moment the tracking shows it to be at the depot I'll be on the phone wanting to know when I can get it. :)

Cool!

But when I opened this thread I thought it was about an even more fun and interesting kind of "tracking". You should give it a try too! Here's a picture of my GT being "tracked" earlier this month:

Nah, that seems to be a bug in the forum software, I tried editing the VIN and it just duplicated the car!

El Paso, Texas. That car is seeing some cool places!

Or at least it would be if it wasn't shut up inside a semi trailer. :)
