Raj Thadani has restored a TD MK II and has entered it in the Cool Ride contest. It's the TD or that '58 Vette. The rest are merely 'grunt' cars that too much testosterone created. Of course I was never much a fan of the TransAm or the 70-ish Camaros anyway. Hood scoops? Yea baby! Pile them suckers high! YeeHaw!

9:45 CST - in 3rd behind the blasted Vega by almost 1/2 point. Within about .6 points of 1st place. It's very, very tight.

Been voting every day so far at home and at work! I'm sure we're making some difference but we need more voters.

I've voted a dozen times for Raj and solicated votes from friends. I still have not seen any comment from Raj, and no deadline listed for the voting. Actually no rules at all other than "one vote per day" which we now know is bogus. Is this even for real? Glad to help but it seems a little hinky.
Yes, it is real. The percentage is based on total votes for all cars. The Camaro
has had the lead for most of the contest. It is all about MG vs. Muscle Car now.

After reading the posts on the yellow bullet forum, I'm glad I chose an MG and became a member of this forum. The group here actually has a bit of class and is able to refrain from the crude, vulgar, and childish posts that seem to be so common there. It gives me flashbacks to almost every car show I've been to where EVERY muscle car guy walks up, looks at the MG for 10 seconds, then blurts out the inevitable, "You 'oughta put a V8 in thar!".
You've got my vote, but don't feel bad if you still don't take top prize. If they need a gaggle of friends to pad votes for a trophy to tell them they have a great car, I feel sorry for them. I'd bet that every time you hop in that TD, you know you already do!
The Camaro guys are charging strongly. It's a big lead now, but with the weekend coming up maybe they'll get their snoots into too many tall boys and forget to vote.

It doesn't look good for a win this morning, but, really, the TD is in a class of its own anyway.
nearly a 3 point lead now for the Camaro, but first runner-up would be a respectable finish for the TD considering whose turf were playing on.
I just posted on our club's Facebook page,http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nature-Coast-English-Car-Club-Suncoast-Classic-MG-Car-Club/206337596069445 trying to get the vote out. This thing goes until the 19th. Not time to ease off now.
It was a Camaro that totalled my '67 Spitfire by trying to (illegally) pass me while I was making a left turn. I think that says it all.
