I'm looking for a good used 7-blade plastic fan to replace my 6-blade metal fan. Assuming the plastic fan is a direct replacement? I just noticed a stress fracture on my metal fan... whew, glad I caught that!

the yellow thing?
I have one from a RB car. but it will not fit my CB water pump. and I really don't want to mod the pump flange...besides I have an electric sitting in a bax and when will i ever get it done? eh?

You will need to switch to a short nose water pump. The plastic fan has a thick hub and will be too close to the radiator with a stiock long nose fan.

Hi Clifton,
Thanks for the info--I was not aware of that. I guess I won't be able to use the plastic fan since my water pump is brand new, installed on the block and painted already. I guess I'll have to stay with the metal version....

I second the electric fan option. I pulled the fan off my GT when I picked up a new electric one.
