Looking to buy either a used, or new reproduction hardtop to fit my 76' MGB, any help in locating such, would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't find one locally, I have one that I'm than willing to part with. Needs a coat of paint and maybe some new rubber. I don't believe it's the factory style, if that's important to you. PM me for a picture.

This may be a little off topic, but which is the better hard top to get, the parrish/smoothline or the snugtop? Are replacement rubber seals, etc available for both??

That Smoothline would have to be one of the ugliest sins you could inflict on a poor old B.

I am trying to find a photo of the J & S hardtop that I had on my Mk1 40 years ago.

It was then, and still (IMHO) the best MGB hardtop ever made.

Actually, I kind of like the smoothlines because they look more like the rest of the car: no straight lines. However, I did look up some pictures of your J&S, and you may be right. It looks rrrrreally good. It actually reminds me of the GT, which makes more sense than anything. Here's a site with a gallery of all the types pf hardtops that were/are made.

I have always had a soft spot for the Bermuda hard top, not everybody's cup of tea though!
