Good morning all-
I'm interested in purchasing a set of Minilite type wheels 15 x 6 with center spline drive and eared knock-offs which will fit my wire wheel MGA. Must be clean and unabused; no curb rash or racing rejects.

Good luck to ya. I shopped all of the usual spots for around six months, and found nothing less than $1150 plus freight, used.
I wound up buying a new set from Hap Waldrop at the Acme Speed Shop (frequent contributor to this board). He gave me a good price for a very good product, and the service was great. If there are ever any problems, I know where he hangs out.
I think you just missed a used set on ebay for around $1100. It appears that those who have them tend to hang onto them. They are pricey for a reason.

i know the minilite k/o rims are pricey but have you seen any sets of mga twin cam wheels lately, and
i wanted to come as close to the originals as possible but it's too much trouble (read $$$) to try to use
a bolt-on tr6 rim and machine up the dummy knock off. i actually intended to contact Hap as apparently
he (superlite) is discontinuing their line of k/o rims.
i'll also consider a set of dunlop 72 spoke 15 x 6 if i can find them.
what car are your k/o rims mounted on?

Hap sold me some charcoal Superlites. They are without the polished edge, grey all over. I like them alot. Here's a photo.
I believe there is such a thing as centerlock hubs that bolt on to a regular wheel. I'm not sure, but I saw a Minilite lookalike with this setup.

those rims are very good looking and just what i had in mind as
a "period look" for my mga.
i guess you made Hap another customer.

and pay the big bucks for those very cool rims.
