Camping in Crozet, Va., drove over to Waynesboro to see the SVBCC car show. As soon as I got there noticed I had forgot my camera. I will kick myself later. Saw a couple of my car club members there(ODBCC) out of Danville. A lot of beautiful cars. Had my dad with me. He is 85, and was remembering how much he liked his MG 1100, 4 door with AC that he had in the late sixties/early seventies. Wish I could find him another one, but they are dissapearing. Did not look to be quite as many cars this year as I have seen before, they don't know what a beautiful day of car ogoling they missed. Probably misspelled that but the Naturals are kicking in here in the campground.

Did not arrive until 1130 hours. Looked for you, but was told that you were probably leaving.

Thanks, I still like the stripes on your car. All I wanted was a few pictures to put on our web-site. The ones you posted here will be fine. You have a nice car, and I am glad your signal lights were correct. No telling who would have hollered at you if they were wrong!!!
I told Mo, the guy parked next to me that just got his car back from the restorer, that his were on backwards. He went around and looked at all the MGB CBs. Seven had them on backwards!
The sign in front said "1962 Warwick GT, No. 23 of about 39 made."
Thanks, I believe the two are related with the Warwick coming out after Peerless went into receivership. This link is titiled Peerless & Warwick History.

It was a another nice show this year. It sure made up for the rain last year.
I met JagManDan and tried my darndest to meet Jim (Shinsen) but he was either not in his chair (as indicated by red arrow in my picture) or was talking with someone else when I dropped by, then was away again!
I did get to say "Hi" to your sig. other, Jim. :)

Help me out here guys - what are some of these fantastic cars?
Almost all were from Virginia, a few from Tennesee, North Carolina, and one from St. Louis!. Most were from central Virginia.
This show in Waynesboro, Virginia is coming up again this weekend. We'll be there. Who else is going?

And I missed it by one weekend -- I was up there last Saturday :(
I'll be there with my '72 GT. Jim, I'll make sure to stop by your car and say hello.
Oh, and I think I nearly had a heart attack reading the first message in the thread thinking the show was this weekend and I had forgotten about it. Whew. 2007, ok.
You gave me a shocker there too, Jim! I was reading the thread from the top thinking how much I would be missing this great show..then saw posts from me! Had I taken leave of my senses and driven up and back from Raleigh? Alas...it was last years post.
This is a nice show and I hope y'all have great weather. I know I'll regret not being there to see all the great cars and good folks. Post pics! (and maybe start a new thread to stop giving us heart attacks, eh! )

Really is a great show and scenic suroundings. Great club & friendly people too!! Used to be a yearly tradition with me but several years since I've made it. Won't be there this year either...out of travel budget and time off work for the GF. Maybe next year. Hope the weather is nice for those attending.
Sorry to scare you guys.....I was too lazy to start a new thread! I think we're going to have a little caravan from Richmond coming through Charlottesville then over the mountains on US250 with a couple of E types, some MGs, and a few Triumphs. We might even get the guy with the Citroen 2CV to go.
Remember not to park or sit under the trees or those tennis ball sized nuts fall on your head.
