Since I didn't want to put a 9 foot tree on the roof of the new car, and it wouldn't fit in the trunk,
we took the MG with the little trailer to get the Christmas Tree yesterday.
Bare roads, not tooooo cold so it was a good run. :-)
The snow is starting today, so that will be it for the year I guess.

Lordy Bill you could have pulled a mountain side of em home with that big Chrysler. By the way Andrea looks real cozy in there :) :)
The MG is the only vehicle we have that has a trailer hitch on it. :)

where did you get a trailer hitch?
Gary, it was on the car when I bought it.
I believe it was a home made, or at least a 'one of' made by a professional.
It consists of a strap (maybe 1/4" or 3/8" thick by 1-1/4" wide) that goes from one side of the sub frame, down beside the gas tank,
across the bottom of the tank and back up to the sub frame on the other side. From the center of this this 'strap' (under the tank,
another one (thicker) goes out to the back of the car, it is attached to the rear of the sub frame (or bumper mount) by a hanger, the
ball is obviously outside that on the back. It is all welded.
If you like, I could try to take a picture or two, to help describe it.
