Hey guys,
I'm at a crossroads. I made a post a few days back about a tan interior with my British racing green exterior. But now I'm starting to think about going crazy, and doing the interior in red. I can get a new set of red interior panels, red carpet, red leather seat covers, all from Moss, and then i can have a red cloth top made. I starting to think it might be super cool looking. Just wanted to get all the input from you guys that i could. Anyone ever seen the green exterior, red interior combo before?
What do you guys think about British Racing Green exterior / Red interior?

I'm gonna vote no Chad. The 2 just don't go together at all. I'd stick with beige or perhaps black (I toyed with the thought of changing mine to black but then I thought it must get awfully hot in the summer) Now I've been thinking about that new vinyl paint and perhaps painting my door inners in a two tone motife if the colors are available?

I agree, red and green would look like a christmas themed car. If you want something a little more eye catching than the typical tan or black, a white interior with brg exterior would look very nice, although hard to keep clean.
I like it! Hard to stand out in a crowd of original restorations with so few feople accepting modded cars. The red interior will both stand out and make peace with the original only crowd.

I could deal with the red interior. I've seen the dark green, dark red work ok on other cars. I don't think I'd go for the red top though, stick with black there.
Since I have a tan upholstered car, I had considered the green. Personally aside from tradition I dont even think green and tan work.
In a red upholstered car, perhaps white, black, silver, or of course red would work. Red upholstery is also the worst for sun fading. I had a convertible that at one time was red inside, but turned pink and orange due to the sun. Yikes!
My car is the original maroon and I hate the color. With the tan upholstery, I am looking at either painting the car black (it's a super straight rust free car) or a burgandy that came on mid 90's Jaguars. I also been toying about going to black inside as well.
By the way if anyone has the a tan upholstered panel that fits behind the seat that hasnt been cut for speakers, please give me a shout.
I'm gonna go with Bill and Pete on this one, if its the right red, i think it will go right with the car, my neighbor's girlfirend has a dark green Audi with a red top and i think it looks great, I'd recomend a darker red, and possibly some two tone inside to break it up, its a tough call not seeing the colors working on the car, it may work, but the call is up to you if you like it or not
I agree with Bill, the red interior on a BRG car would probably go OK, but the red top would be a little much. I'd go with black there.
OK last pic, i promise.
I googled almost 3 hours just to get these 3 pics of green and red, not too many cars have it thats for sure, LOL
Ok,
I am kinda digging this tan interior, green exterior, and the red wire wheels. What do you guys think about this combo, and doing the wheels in red? I've always like the painted wire wheel look with nice colors, not the greyish silver that was standard. Anyway just wanted to add this pic also, sorry, i know i promised no more pics, lol.
