Afternoon/Evening,

I have a chance to get some 13x5.5 wheels that are said to fit MG, Astra, Morris Minor etc.
Will a midget accept 5.5" ? ( what size tyre for 5.5" )
My original wheels are not in the best condition.
Thanks

Yep, you just have to pay close attention to the outer tid rod stud and nut, they sometime have to be massaged a bit for clearence, not big job, but necessary. Our new VTO 14x5.5 Retro 4 wheels for Spridgets elminate the need for this however, plus you can get some real sporty rubber with the 14" wheel, unlike the 13" wheels.

Be careful about your selection. There are many variables. Does the car have round wheel arches? What size/profile tire are you considering? Double check the offset of the rim as well.

Is the Morris Minor wheel stud spacing the same as a Midget though or a MGB

I think they are the same as a Midget. Not sure about the offset. Gerard would be the one to give a definitive answer.
